Casting adhesive is a two-component room temperature curing adhesive mainly composed of epoxy resin, curing agent, toughening agent, etc. It is used to repair defects such as sand holes, pores, cracks, etc. in various metal castings (such as iron, steel, aluminum, etc.). It has the characteristics of strong adhesion, high hardness, oil resistance, water resistance, corrosion resistance, impact resistance, and high temperature resistance, and can replace traditional welding, riveting, or bolted connections. It has the advantages of low cost, high efficiency, and easy operation

Main features

Two component room temperature curing: After mixing components A and B in proportion, they can be used and cured at room temperature.

Strong tolerance: It has good oil resistance, water resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and impact resistance.

High temperature resistance: Generally used in the range of -45 ° C to 200 ° C, the performance is stable, and some products can withstand higher instantaneous high temperatures.

High adhesive strength: After curing, it has high strength and hardness, and can be subjected to secondary processing such as polishing, drilling, and painting.

Good repair effect: It can fill sand holes, pores, cracks, etc. in castings, and is not easily deformed and has low shrinkage after repair.

Scope of application

Repair defects in castings made of cast iron, cast steel, aluminum alloy, and other materials, including sand holes, pores, cracks, and pits.

As a structural adhesive used for bonding general metal parts.

Widely used in fields such as automotive, mechanical equipment manufacturing, and maintenance.

Usage method

Cleaning the area to be repaired: Thoroughly clean the area to be repaired with professional cleaning agents or solvents (such as acetone) and let it dry.

Polishing the surface: Use tools such as files or sandpaper to smooth the surface to be repaired, in order to increase the bonding strength.

Proportional mixing: Squeeze components A and B in the required volume ratio (usually 2:1 or 1:1) and mix thoroughly on a glass plate or hard paper.

Coating: Apply the mixed adhesive to the area to be repaired, pay attention to controlling the mixing amount, and ensure that it is used up before curing.

Curing: According to the instructions, it can be completely cured in approximately 8-10 hours at room temperature.

Subsequent processing: After curing, the repaired area can be subjected to secondary processing such as polishing, drilling, and painting.
